नमामीशमीशान निर्वाणरूपं।
I bow to Lord Ishana, whose very form is liberation.
विभुं व्यापकं ब्रह्मवेदस्वरूपम्॥
The all-pervading Supreme, essence of Brahman and the Vedas.
निजं निर्गुणं निर्विकल्पं निरीहं।
He is the pure Self, beyond attributes, thought, and desire.
चिदाकाशमाकाशवासं भजे हं॥
I worship the one who dwells in the infinite space of consciousness.

Verse 2
निराकारमोंकारमूलं तुरीयं।
Formless, source of Om, the fourth state beyond waking and dream.
गिरा ग्यान गोतीतमीशं गिरीशं॥
Beyond speech, knowledge, and senses, Lord of the mountains.
करालं महाकाल कालं कृपालं।
Fierce, timeless, beyond death, yet filled with compassion.
गुणागार संसारपारं नतो हं॥
Storehouse of virtues, who lifts souls beyond this world, I bow.

Verse 3
तुषाराद्रि संकाश गौरं गम्भीरं।
Radiant as snowy peaks, deep and majestic in presence.
मनोभूत कोटि प्रभा श्री शरीरं॥
With a glow surpassing millions of gods of desire.
स्फुरन्मौलि कल्लोलिनी चारु गंगा।
Ganga sparkles and flows from His crown.
लसद्भालबालेन्दु कण्ठे भुजंगा॥
The crescent moon shines on His forehead, snakes adorn His neck.
चलत्कुण्डलं भ्रू सुनेत्रं विशालं।
His earrings sway, eyebrows arch, eyes are vast.
प्रसन्नाननं नीलकण्ठं दयालं॥
His face is serene, throat blue, and heart full of mercy.
मृगाधीशचर्माम्बरं मुण्डमालं।
Clothed in deer skin, wearing a garland of skulls.
प्रियं शंकरं सर्वनाथं भजामि॥
I worship beloved Shankara, the Lord of all beings.

Verse 4
प्रचण्डं प्रकृष्टं प्रगल्भं परेशं।
Fierce, supreme, fearless, the ultimate Lord.
अखण्डं अजं भानुकोटिप्रकाशम्॥
Unbroken, unborn, shining like countless suns.
त्रयः शूल निर्मूलनं शूलपाणिं।
He uproots all three types of suffering, holding His trident.
भजे हं भवानीपतिं भावगम्यं॥
I worship Bhavani’s Lord, reachable only through true feeling.
कलातीत कल्याण कल्पांतकारी।
Beyond time, the source of goodness, destroyer at creation’s end.
सदासज्जनानन्ददाता पुरारी॥
Giver of joy to the virtuous, destroyer of Tripura (ego).
चिदानन्द संदोह मोहापहारी।
Embodiment of bliss and awareness, remover of illusion.
प्रसीद प्रसीद प्रभो मन्मथारी॥
Be pleased, O Lord, destroyer of desire, have mercy.

Verse 5
न यावद् उमानाथ पादारविंदं।
Until one worships the lotus feet of Uma's Lord
भजंतीह लोके परे वा नराणां॥
In this world or beyond, among men
न तावत्सुखं शान्ति सन्तापनाशं।
They do not find true joy, peace, or end to suffering
प्रसीद प्रभो सर्वभूताधिवासं॥
O Lord, who dwells in all beings, be merciful
न जानामि योगं जपं नैव पूजां।
I do not know yoga, nor mantra, nor ritual worship
नतो हं सदा सर्वदा शम्भु तुभ्यं॥
I simply bow to You always, O Shambhu
जराजन्म दु:खौघ तातप्यमानं।
Burned by the pain of birth and aging
प्रभो पाहि आपन्नमामीश शंभो॥
O Lord, protect this helpless one, I surrender to You, O Shiva
